This cover

This is a personal project created as part of the Thiscover initiative: an augmented reality animation of an album cover.

The album Origin of Symmetry by Muse takes its title from Michio Kaku’s Hyperspace (1994), which explores higher dimensions and their role in understanding the universe. The antennas featured in the album artwork symbolize an attempt to connect with these hidden dimensions—reflecting a search for deeper truths, the potential for interstellar travel, and the mysteries of the cosmos.

Beyond its scientific roots, hyperspace also serves as a metaphor for the human quest for meaning in a vast and complex universe. Like existentialism, it captures the tension between outward exploration and inner reflection—a struggle to find balance and purpose amid chaos.
